Which side for the foot box?

I am getting ready to order A WBBB and wonder about foot box placement (tried the search and got no joy). If I tend to mostly sleep on my right side (in 'Jack Knife' position...one knee up the other straightish) should the foot box also be on the right for a-sym lay? My thinking is that this would put the face farther away from the hammock wall but then I dunno.

I've used both configurations. In my case, it didn't matter too much. As a right side sleeper (mostly), the normal WBBB configuration with the footbox on the right seems to be a bit better for me.

FWIW, I found that I don't actually sleep as much on my side in the hammock as I do in a regular bed. I'm tilted a bit to the right, but not dramatically so in the hammock. I didn't plan it that way, it just works out like that.

I sleep on my left side(semi) and the standard WBBB fits that use just beautiful(look at Shug´s videos, my footbbox is in the same side), when inside i have alot of space - no fabric in my face...... YMMV

I sleep on my right side, and it's comfortable with the standard WBBB (footbox on the right).

I have the footbox on the right .... but I put my feet to the left. Just as comfy to me. Also, I am a back sleeper.

Sounds pretty much like a difference without a distinction.

For me laying on my back foot box on right the hammock lays better to the left. If I had it to do over I would have got the foot box on the left. My weight and girth may make my experience way different than other. I have found after some time spent in the hammock I can lay on either side my feet in the box or on the other side after you find your sweet spot its all good!

the mirrored image is really only needed for those that are accustomed to sleeping in a hammock with their head to the right and their feet to the left and don't want to switch.

I own both so my wife and I can sleep next to each other in close proximity under a common tarp. I've now slept in both and can't tell the difference.

If you use a sleeping bag and actually zipper it, you may choose based on the side your bag's zipper is on.

Thanks Brandon and y'all, I will find my own lay with the stock hammock anyway (all so new and all). I'll get to work on my order tomorrow and get it in the mail...thanks much for your behind the scenes help. This forum is enjoyable on far too many levels to list.
