    Looks good.
Maybe some tree straps, ropes have a tendency to damage the bark, and thusly damaging the tree.
And there are lighter rope options, like amsteel or dynaglide.
Your suspension looks a little too flat, try raising your attachment point next time so your straps/ropes run a little more downhill. 30 degrees is the recomended angle. That angle puts much less stress on the rope.

    Hi

Looks like a good homemade hammock. Next time you are down the forest give a shout out there seems to be a few of us this way and we be able to get together? Also some of us trying to organise a meet at some point!

Hammock looks well constructed. Did you use Headchange4U's instructions?

Try raising your suspension lines a little. 30 degrees from horizontal is the rule of thumb.

You have webbing around one tree but rope around the other. When using rope suspension you should use tree huggers (webbing) at the tree. The type of tree you were connected to is probably not going to be hurt by rope, but it's good stewardship to use huggers anyway.

Have fun and keep posting pics. Thanks.
