I'm going on a hammock-camping trip on the weekend of the 24-26 of Sept. in the ADKs of upstate NY, and am wondering which hammock to bring...
The choice hinges on whether to bring my HH (with its bug-netting) or one of my hammocks without beg-netting...I have always been told that once the nights get consistently below 50, the mosquitoes are done for the year...
Does anyone have experience/input as to the accuracy of this?
I wouldn't mind saving the weight/space of the HH on this trip (I'm trying to get under 25 pounds and rocking my Granite Gear Virga), but don't want to get eaten alive each night for my troubles...
Thanks,
Jamie - nfa
