    The micro biners at AHE & the Hammock forums store work great for ridgelines too.

    To the OP just about any climbing rated 'biner is going to be fine. I go for the lightest. I have some CAMP Nano (23 grams) and Metolius minis (23 grams). Under $6 for the CAMPs and around $7.50 for the Metolius in most stores.
