I had been thinking the same thing, about adding a ridgeline. It seemed like I was always having to adjust the length of the shock cords that support the netting, due to variations of the setup. Also they are another conduit for water to follow. Then I started attaching the netting to the tarp's ridgeline eyes, since it is always pretty close to the same. I really enjoy the lack of the ridgeline for lounging. It seems to work well for me.
