Just a word of caution "The Scout Is Small"!!!!!
We own one that my better half has been using and she's about 5'4" and it's tight for her! The scout is perfectly sized for kid's and I would say up too 5' but passed that it starts to get very tight!!!

    Agreed.

My wife is a bit shorter than you are and she found my Explorer UL to be much more comfortable than the Backpacker UL I had purchased for her.

Sold hers and bought a new one for me.

Then she tried a WBBB at a group hang. Bad thing to do. That cost me some more money but that's another conversation completly.

Step it up to the Expedition. Scouts are small. I keep a couple Scouts around for when my friend's sons join us.

does anyone else have a bad taste in there mouths.i looked at the hennessy site and low and behold tom is offering all of brandons refinements.i think it stinks.sold my hennessy.
anyone else think it is rude of tom to b and moan about brandons work, then turn around and steal his ideas.

Tom's business practices have been discussed several times on this site...some folks agree with you, and others just say it's how the free market operates. Rather than rehash the debates, let's keep this thread on topic please. If anyone is interested in more info on it, search the archives.
