Welcome from a fellow Bama hanger.

We're having a hang at an Island in Guntersville lake that same weekend. Hopefully getting a good turn out.

As far as I know that particular setup is rated at 200lbs. Now I'm pretty positive it will handle 220 as I have overloaded one of my Hennessys by a solid 50lbs testing it out. But that is a decision you will have to make. All things considered $150 for the whole kit is an outstanding deal. UL ASYM $190, Supershelter $140, including a whoopie sling conversion!

If you get it, just ensure you hang it kinda low and over soft ground until you learn to trust it. If I were you, I would ponder on it hard. If you blow it out overloading it it will be unpleasant and no longer will have a shelter. Not a pleasant experience at 3am in the middle of the woods.

    Thats what I'm thinking!
I see that the EXPEDITION ASYM CLASSIC is rated at 250, so that might be the direction I'm headed, but you are right, that is a sweet deal and I think I'm going to buy it for my wife.

Now yer talking. My gal has her very own Exped Asym. But she could certianly benefit from losing a pound in carried weight, and having the super shelter.
