The ultra light just showed up in the mail!

    Yippie!

My ultra light just showed up in the mail! Ordered from bargainoutfitters.com a couple of weeks ago and it was back order, not expecting it till the end of the month.... Now I need to go find a place to set this rig up! Might have to see if any of the parks in my hood have some trees, or take a drive over to my parents since they have a couple that would be good.

    Pics sometime soon I hope.

I believe that it is listed as a 250 lb capacity.

Here is the link for it at www.bargainoutfitters.com

It looks like it might be a little small for a good nights sleep, but I know it will be good for some camp site naps! If it looks like I want to spend more time in a hammock, I will upgrade, but for $14.97, I think its a good start for me.

They are a little bit on the small side, but not terribly so. That hammock is almost identical to the one that got me hooked on hammocks. I bought mine online for $19.99 and set it up above my bed. Three days later I was, or should have been, committed. I was pushing up against the weight ratings and started to see some wear as a result, but it's a perfectly comfortable hammock and was my bed every night for about 7 or 8 weeks.

    Welcome to the hanging life.

I've spent a few nights in this hammock. I slept just fine it it (I'm 6'-3", around 230 lbs). YMMV.

It's actually slightly longer but similar in size to my DD Traveler hammock (my main rig)

A little annoyed that I overpaid tho (spent $16.17) LOL

I have a Claytor JH and the GTUL the Claytor never gets used. I put a set of whoopies and 6 foot straps on it and that put me at 13oz. Claytor is 38oz so unless the skeeters are biting the claytor gets shelved.

I'm a bit shorter then Cannibal (I'm 5'7") & the Ultralight is about 4" longer than my minimum. I now have the full size one & it sleeps just a touch more comfortable, but not that much. I wish I could have found the UL, In fact mine is still in use,,, At work!

You got a good hammock there!!

Argh! Went over to my parents to drop off a couple of things and to try out my new hammock since they have 2 trees in the front yard.... And I was about a foot short on suspension!

I have a good spot at work to test it, but forgot it today....

Ok, I remembered to take my hammock to work on Friday and got to try it out at lunch by one of our patio areas. I only had about 15 to 20 minutes to try it out, but I enjoyed. Will try it some more this week!
