NEVER MIND on this one. I got to wondering about my memories from last time I used it. so I ran out and tested it on my HH no net Explorer, one of my longer hammocks. There really is not enough room to do the above, unless your legs are out side the zipper. And you can do that with a BB, so cancel that. ( though it might be possible with some shorter hammocks, but I doubt it is feasible, too much stress on the netting.

Since I don't own a traveler yet. Is there really any difference betwwen a traveler another gathered end hammock such as a speer?

I like the BB's bugnet for winter because it holds up my top cover

I have a double layer 1.7 traveler and it is less stretchy than my ENO. In terms of comfort they are on par IMO with an edge to the traveler. A single layer one may feel different.

Yes. The Speers have what I call a bathtub shape. Not saying it's a bad thing, but with the edges pulled in more than the center of the fabric, it just reminds me of a bathtub. I don't get that in the Traveler. Laying diagonal in the Traveler is a breeze and you can go pretty hard on the diagonal if you want. The Speers seem to restrict the diagonal IMO.

That's a great description and the reason I give the edge to my traveler over my ENO.

It is easy. Didn't realize myself just how easy until I made one.

    i own both options...
the traveler+ net has more options (leave the net at home in winter, etc)
the BB has the shelf (I LOVE that shelf)

your good either way...or better yet, buy BOTH (Love ya Brandon!)
