I have the tarp, it's a fine tarp but, not the lightest for it's size. It covers my Warbonnet Blackbird (WBBB) well, for summer use. I was talked out of the Mosquito Hammock because I have wide shoulders and the Hammock is sort of narrow. But I've never heard anyone complain about it on this sight. I went with the WBBB and I'm very happy with it .
I have yet to hear anyone griping about getting one. Even those that are too broad to find it comfy are typically still pleased with it for the price, and pass it along as they upgrade.
I really think for the $150 you can get a more comfy, more highly regarded Hennessy Hammock Expedition Asym. With a quick search on google shopping I can find them for $100, that'll leave plenty of money for suspension upgrades, and other gear.

That's just my opinion though.

Only 1 recommendation for a WB in 3 pages...lol.

I didn't order a Clark because of the price and just looking at the pictures gives me claustrophobic panic attacks. I would also immediately rip off the pockets, toss out the weather shield and replace the tarp with one I already have that gives me more real estate underneath... and if I know this before buying the hammock, I just need a different hammock.
I got the Warbonnet Blackbird after spending some time in Hennessy - I wanted a side entry, full bug net, double layer, and did not want it to be heavier than it needed to be. I like the shelf more than I expected to - very handy to not have everything dangling overhead to hit my head when I sit up. I can use pads more comfortably (when I have to use pads) and the underquilts I have work with it. I needed a roomy feeling hammock I could roll and side sleep in. I have hung it badly quite a bit and still been very comfortable - difficult to screw up a hang with it. (Hanging the Hennessy with less preciseness made it less comfortable.)
The stock strap suspension is very convenient but I switched to whoopie slings and toggles and like that even better.
So my rec is for Warbonnet.
I have two Tom Claytor design "mosquitohammocks" which are light enough to pack and strong enough to be real. Their tarps are less expensive and I believe better performing than some of the silly and expensive ones. A small tarp will not keep you dry in Texas, where a 3x4m is about the best minimum, whether diamond or square. In stormy conditions, people who get wet might re-think their equipment.

That's because all the WBBB users are hanging and haven't seen the post
Add one recommendation for the WBBB. I'm trying to get ready to pull the trigger on a second since my camping buddies keep drooling on mine (and asking to borrow it - letting me use the HH) .
Actually I really want to be able to take my wife sometimes, so the new one will be for 'us'.

so far I have figured out this from your replies:
hennessy's have the best deal, but
the bottom entrance sucks.
a warbonnet is most comfortable,
but the tarp comes separate.
if you have tried a clark you love it, but
if you haven't you hate it.
and claytor's tarps are cheap.
I'm getting confused
