The only real advantage I can see with a traveler over a re-whipped ENO is that the double fabric layers could give you a flatter lay due to less stretch. But it's worth trying the whipping style out in your ENO first before you fork out the cash.

I agree. As I mentioned earlier, my ENO doesn't even resemble an ENO anymore. I even cut off the side fabric so it would have a similar width to the Traveler.

Thanks for all of the advice! I'm going to order up a ridgeline to see if I can't get a little consistency in my DN. I also think that a BB may be in my future, mostly because it sounds like I can turn my ENO into something awfully similar to a Traveler. Really I just have some funds burning a hole in my pocket, and think I need to add more hammocks to my arsenal.

I know this post is probably not the best place for this question, but does anyone have opinions on the WBBB vs. the Switchback? Better than that ... Anyone in the Pacific NW want to trade a six pack for a test hang?

I've tried both and prefer the WBBB. The WBBB is lighter, packs MUCH smaller, and (for me), way more comfortable.

    Both hammocks are well-made.
