Hey everybody!
I just got infected by this nasty hammock-virus while planing my backpacking trip through Indonesia
While backpacking, weight is one of the most important factors for my setup.
My idea was to buy a sturdy, cheap hammock and use the bugnet I'm carrying for "normal" beds for my hammock to save the weight of an extra bugnet.
Few weeks ago, I receieved my Claytor "No net" and fell in love with it
Since then, I'm searching the internet for any instructions to use a regular bugnet without destroying it.
I don't have my bugnet yet, so if you have any suggestions what to buy and how to prepare it, I would be very thankful.
My plan was to take the net, cut a small hole in the top, put my suspension through and wrap the other end around my hammock - like a sock bugnet.
If it's neccessary, I'll sew in some zipper or something like that.
Anyone any ideas/howto's whatever to help me?
Greetings,
Martin
ps: Yes, ridgeline is present.
ps #2: Yes, I noticed the suspension needs to be replaced
