My first DIY hammock
Hi All,
Just finished my first DIY hammock and it turned out better than I expected. Its sort of a cross between a Hennessey in the way it is cut, but with a zipper instead of a bottom entry, and gathered like a Warbonnet. Tried it out a couple of times in the back yard and it feels about like a Hennessey, so I like it and will take up to the Apostle Islands this weekend for a shakedown. Many thanks for Headchange4U and Knotty for the tutorials. It was actually easier to make than my tarps.

When I made my first 'clone' hammock, it was quite an accomplishment. I didn't know if I could do the netting and zipper part. But, thanks to members sharing their tips, and seeing that others can do it, I gave it a try- and it came out great!
