Memories!
I had my first nap in a hammock at Elkmont. One of those old net things. I hung almost right over the Little river. I was comfortable (mostly due to luck) but for some reason it never "Clicked" that I could do that when "real camping".

Ah the Little River. I caught my first trout on a fly on the middle branch (many moons ago) and my son just caught his on the Elkmont branch. The water was down this week ( a bit of a drought going) but it was still as pretty as any body of water I've ever seen.
Hammocking gear is like fly tying. As addictive ac crack. can be as expensive, not as pleasant but you don't go to jail for using it.
