I started to tell my wife about this BBforum
and she interupted with:

"What . . . you go to a Hammock forum"
she smirks

"what do they post?
'I sure had a good sleep last night"

Then she says to me

"And the replys are . . ."

I know she's a card, and I am about to deal with her . . .

PS. She hates camping . . .
. . . and I guess that is just fine with me

My in-laws think it's funny as hell that I go to "hangs."

As for my caretaker, taking her camping would create an unimmaginable amount of work for me. And besides, someone has to stay home and feed the cats.

My wife doesn't mind my hanging out - on the forums or at hangs. She even goes with me to some hangs and trips. In return, I go into "the city" with her occasionally. It works out well. Except when we both want to do something different at the same time...

When I told my Fiance I was going on my first hang she replied "you mean your going to hang out with people in the woods who you meat on the internet, be careful" (she was a bit skeptical) I kinda just laughed. But now im sure glad I did due to the many friends I made. My fiance will camp in a tent and allow me to hang as long as their is a restroom with showers a stone throw away from our site.
