Ambulo tua ambulo.
Special order sounds good considering the future might bring more & more northern hangers. Gotta' keep the northerners warm too

I like what Opie said. I'd be tempted to buy one if I didn't already one I made by cutting & modifying one of the older, sewn through versions of a summer weight top quilt by Speer.
Even in the summer when it's to warm for anything on top when you go to bed, I usually find myself needing to put my feet into the foot box & pulling it up over my shoulders before daylight.
I think mine weighs about 14ozs but I'd have to go back & check.
I too will something make and joy in it's making
Keep them as an item on your site Adam. Costs you nothing to list them as an item for purchase. I know that making them could be few and far between but sells will be there!!!! It could be listed as a "Southern Edition" Winter Quilt!!!!!!!!!!!

Keep it as an option, and the suggestion from MacEntyre sounded good too.
Every once in-a-while that guy comes up with a worthwhile idea.

Hey, I know this is off topic, but I thought this would be as good a place as any to chime in. I noticed that the down you're selling is 800 fill and that the description says it's used in your quilts, etc. However in the product descriptions for the quilts themselves it says you use 900 fill, and that it has 12.5% more loft. I'm not sure if it was just a typo or if I misunderstood something, but I thought I'd bring it to your attention to avoid future confusion.
I'll certainly be happy with either 800 or 900 fill down when my crowsnest arrives, as I'm not used to the luxury of either, but thought you might want to know! Thanks again for the great service you provide!
I use 900 fill in my quilts. It's very hard to get ahold of and costs twice as much as the 800... As you probably see I'm one of the only people anywhere to use 900 fill. If the supply runs out (which does happen) I may have to switch to 800 at some point, so I definitely recommend people pick up the quilts while we have the 900 down...
But no, I don't sell the 900 to anyone... It's the Hammock Gear private stash

As you stated...too many choices creates confusion and delay on ordering a quilt.
