Which side out for Urethane Coated Fabric?

I have some really waterproof fabric (digital camo) from WM that I think has a urethane coating, what ever it is it's clear, only on one side, with a slight rubbery feel. Although the fabric is a little on the heavy side, I am going to make a diamond shaped tarp. My question is which side should go out for this type coated fabric?

It is my understanding that the PU coating will degrade in sunlight... I vote for coating down...

coated side underneath ... or inside depending on what it is. Coated packs have the coating inside to protect it from abrasion. If you check say ... coated camo tarps ... the camo face side is not coated ... just the back.

Made mine with coated side out, but what do I know. My first DIY tarp, but it worked in a torrential downpour in BWCA 2 weeks ago.

In terms of performance I think it probably doesn't matter as long as the coating is in good shape. If the coating is not in good shape it's going to leak anyway no matter which way you put it. I would suggest which ever way is going to protect the integrity of the coating the best. In most cases I would think that would be toward the inside. However I suppose one could develop scenarios where outside would be best.
I may be slow... But I sure am gimpy.
