Yes is the short answer.
Seam Sealer has been the goto stuff for more years than I can remember. Used it on all my tents and tarps until just a few years ago.
More recently I've been using the automotive stuff, Permatex Flowable, with great results.
I have used the Permetex stuff to seal the seams on my 35+ year old Eureka Timberline tent. Didn't do the tub but did all the side seams.

Heck...I still have a dozen tents and can answer this question. Bt tent tub I jope you mean the typical "bathtub" floor found in many tents. Use Aquaseal tent sealer on the uncoated side. It is terrific if the tent is clean. Be sure to dab up any overage you apply as any "puddling" is a big no-no. If you mean sealing the seams...forget everything but Permatex flowable silicone #81730. Itis far better than any other product I have seen. It is made for use on automotive windshield gaskets (I think) and has a nifty application cap that keeps you on the straight and narrow. You can find it at auto parts stores yet support Dutchware gear and buy it from him. That is how I fund it and I am really glad I did. Good luck!
I have a dozen tents and but 3 hammocks...I...just...need...time...to convert...to...hanging...I guess...
