Anyone Make a Hammock w/ Walmart Digital Camo Material???

Found two scores this week at my local Walmarts on the $1.50 a yard digital camo material. The first score was 20 yds of the rip stop nylon that already has the WP coating that I will make some tarps out of. Today I found 20+ yards of the same digi camo nylon but was not treated and was not ripstop.

Anyone make a hammock out of the non-rip and non-treated material yet?

If so how did it come out and does the material seem to be good for hammocks?

I am over the 200 mark and was hoping the material would work to make a couple hammocks.

Any feedback is greatly appreciated in advance!!

I've made one out of that material, it worked quite well. I imagine it's strong enough for your weight, but I guess you could always make it a double layer one. I really like the feel of the fabric.

If its the same?? hard to say. Feels like a thin denim?
But I used some wally digital like what you describe for two hammocks. I am a little heavier than you and did a single layer. They have held me up fine. I'm 340.

One of my most comfortable hammocks. Really nice but heavy, so it only gets out for shorter hikes and of course 'car camping'!

    Thanks!

Thanks for all the feedback. I will get started searching threads for the designs on making one up. I like the double layer idea, Thanks!
