DynaGlide 2mm and Amsteel 7/64 WS & ridgeline

Need a new bear bagging line. Happy with the 1/8" Amsteel WS, but thinking about replacing the Amsteel WS and WBBB ridge line with DynaGlide. Anyone here done this and are not happy with the change from Amsteel to DynaGide?

Anyone know of an online retailer that sells both? Bit expensive per foot if needing to pay 2 shipping fees.

Is it you need a new bear bagging line? Or new whoopie sling's?
You can get a complete set-up from Paul at AHE! Here:AHE
Paul has a couple different bag size's available, and or you can get the line itself from him!
For the Dynaglide WS you can get them from Opie! Here:http://whoopieslings.com/

Unless you're simply trying to shave grams from your gear, there's not a lot of improvement in moving from Amsteel to Dynaglide for the hammock suspension.

Dynaglide does make excellent bear-bagging line, though.

Bear bag line is only what I really need to replace. Figured since I need to order some bear bag line might as well get some extra line and tinker with the WBBB suspension. But then why fool around with something that is just fine. Keeping the Amsteel WS and stock ridgeline. Found a sight with reasonable prices for DynaGlide ($21.95/150ft at treestuff.com), but no Amsteel in narrower sizes. WS, loops are one of the few DIY items I find simple and fun to make.

I was looking over the treestuff.com website and saw a line called Fling-it. It's cheaper than the dynaglide and seems to have a special coating for the purpose of gliding over tree limbs (perfect for bear bagging??). Does anyone have experience with this stuff?? Possibly any knowledge about the weight/flexability of the line (compared to dynaglide/amsteel)?? I've only delt with amsteel and am always looking for new and cool stuff!!

Fling it will work well for bear bag line. Its a little stiffer then DG or Amsteel.

koaloha... I think someone turned me onto 1 place that sells Amsteel and DG at the same shop. For the life of me I cant remember. The issue is that DG is a throw line that arborists use and Amsteel is used mainly in the marine industry. So finding both in the same place can be challenging.
