    Double-layer hammock without netting

Are there hammocks made that have a double-layer (to allow the use of a sleeping pad) that don't have mosquito netting?

I tried searching, but this seems a quicker way to find the answer...

    Thanks,

    Jamie - nfa

You can get a net-less double layer Warbonnet Traveler or a net-less Tree to Trail Switchback.

Sure ... the Traveler comes in a double ... or you can make a double layer DIY gathered end ... real simple and easy to make.

While everyone talks about how much Warbonnet rocks, I think it might take a bit more than 2 hours for them to build a hammock and get it to you...

I've got a Traveler on order as well - ordered last week, still waiting on a shipping email.

Yes, it takes apparently 4 weeks and counting for mine.

Brandon is great about emailing you if you email him, first, but you're not going to see an email telling you how long it is going to take. And, if you email and ask he'll tell you when it will be done, but he'll be over optimistic and probably off by a couple of weeks. Anyway, it's frustrating but you've got to understand that a lot of people have ordered hammocks from him and he is running things alone.

It may sound like it, but I'm not that frustrated; I've just missed out on using it in the prime backpacking season. I thought that the lack of the "out of stock" mark that was on other products meant that he had them in stock and that they would ship out quickly but I guess not. He's honestly probably too busy to even mark what is in stock and what is out.

I'm being patient - it'll be finished and shipped when it's finished and shipped.

I *do* find myself checking my email more often, just in case...

Claytor No-net is 2 layers, no net (thus the name) and best of all $40.
