Check the Suspension section of the forum, there's some great how-to's with pictures. If you need any help just let me know... one suggestion, figure out how to do the fixed loop at the hammock end before you make the whoopie bury. I like the locked brummel, but some people do a straight bury.

If you do the whoopie part first, it can very difficult (but not impossible), to do the brummel.

If you want it to be a real Hennessy clone, you could consider installing a (structural) ridgeline. This can show useful, not only for the netting but also for a reproducible way of hanging the hammock. The ridgeline defines the distance between the ends of the hammock. Remember that the ridgeline is a structural element, which should be strong enough to take on a force similar to the force in the suspension. I hope the diagrams below are helpful.
I’m no attorney and I hate to be a stick in the mud here, but aren’t we teetering on the brink of "patent" infringement here?

This thread has been around long enough that I would expect any challenge would have been raised by now. If you were going to make these for sale or resale you would probably in dangerous territory. Some of us are somewhat dubious that the "ridgeline patent" would be enforceable in any event as I seem to remember a discussion of prior art regarding ridgelines.
I may be slow... But I sure am gimpy.
