    First time bunk-bedding

My fiance (Mary) and I went to my parents' land in Kentucky for the long weekend. I had to help install the electric in their barn and my fiance helped my mom clean up a bit. It wasn't too much work, but I was glad to be able to sleep in a hammock at the end of the day.

I am still using my cheapie Wal-Mart hammock until my new BlackBird arrives, but Mary let me sleep in her Coyote Brown the second night and it was LOADS more comfortable. I found a couple improvements I need to make on my tarp ridgeline and I need to teach Mary some knots to speed up the process of setting up.

    Enjoy the crappy iPhone pics!

Great pics! Dog looks comfy too. There's an old thread here showing a diy hammock for dogs you may want to read.

    That looks like a Belgian.

Nice set-up. I just did the same thing with my bridge hammocks. First time bunking it.

Thats a mighty tall step up into the top!!!

Very cool - when I do a two hammock hang, I usually go side by side...

Although, I have seen a bunk bed setup before...

I jumped when I slept in it. The chair was moved in the second night for my fiancé to get in, and I still had to give her a hand. I do have a good 6 inches on her though.

It's crazy how much more comfortable the BB is compared to the Kalisto.

Lol - what the heck? Makes me wonder if they packed in a ladder or something.
