    I'm New

Hey my name is Brandon. I live in the adirondacks and I am looking for advice on what kind of hammock I should buy? Any recommendations?

Might as well start with the best if you know you're going to enjoy hammocking. Warbonnet Blackbird is the hammock of choice for many, many hammockers and I love it more every time I lay in mine.

Nice hammocks, but you'll probably need a bug net to go with it.

Also, you're going to pay a premium in shipping to the US from TTTM hammocks. You should be able to find Trek Light or ENO hammocks locally or online without having to pay overseas shipping. All three of these company's hammocks are very similar, if not identical. The material used is among my favorites for laying on, very soft on the skin.

inexpensive starter hammock- less cost, less features, but an excellent gateway product- to see if you like sleeping on air, rather than roots and rocks.
Welcome to the learning curve! KM

Almost any hammock is a good starting point, even if just loungin' around in it.
For actually camping in one, the mosquito net is priceless. And the tarp, you'll need a tarp.
TTTM is where I started, then started making my own.

Buying good gear has an almost full resale value, so if you decide down the road its not your cup of tea, you can sell it. Weigh your options, buy what you can afford, enjoy!!

ps you'll end buying one of everything eventually...
