Another great video, Shug. I bet you drove your mother crazy as a kid!

Btw...the beginning says Part 2 instead of Part 3.
“Republics are created by the virtue, public spirit, and intelligence of the citizens. They fall when the wise are banished from the public councils because they dare to be honest, and the profligate are rewarded because they flatter the people, in order to betray them.” ~Judge Joseph Story

Thanks for more great video! And thanks to Hickory for the photos! I really wish I was there after watching all the mayhem.

    As posted on YouTube:
The gun doesn't bother me at all, proper handling and some common sense is all that's needed to stay safe. In fact I have found them to be multi purpose on my trips. To save weight I cut most of the handle off my toothbrush, now, I can stick the toothbrush into the barrel of my gun and brush away with a custom grip.
    That's thinkin' there!

    How cold was the water?
Was the catfish caught in the Linville River?
    What became of the tent?

    Again, Thanks for sharing!
I like to go solo - off trail - immerse myself in the area - explore - eat really well - and make it back home.

    *Water is cold but exhilarating....
*No ... Food Lion for the catfish ... those scenes are from our first night behind the trailhead....
    *We hid it really good.....

I forgot to add...it looked like hickory was wearing Asolo Fugitives in the photo with his feet on the edge.

The lightning and thunder weren't scary but "Shug's corpse-like foot", now that's a horror show!

Thanks for yet another great video Shug. A slice of life in the Gorge is like a whole pie anywhere else.

It's a shame you can't put it all up on YT. Perhaps a vid from the cutting room floor for a finale?
