    Any one seen Restless Leggs

I spent a great 5 or 6 days with Restless Leggs on my 10 day section hike while he was doing his through hike of the A.T.

He had many questions about his HH. Was very unsure of how well he liked it. I gave him a bunch of pointers from my personal experiecne and from info I learned here. I know he was looking to get a underquilt during Trail Days. I hope he found something at a discounted rate.

Just checking to see if any one talked with him while at TD. I am following his SPOT web site.

    Thanks BEAS

Hiked with RL about a week back and saw him numerous times during TDz. I do think I saw him with a new quilt but don't recall what he had... He spent alot of time in hammock-row at TD so Im confident that he's doing well!!

Spent some time with Restless Leggs this weekend. Couscous brought down a box containing his summer gear.

RL ended up buying a JRB underquilt at a great price, so he's all set. He also spent some time looking over my stuff & I set him up with a pair of whoppie slings, a tarp ridgeline, a pair of polyester tree straps & a few tarp guylines.

Macintyre & I tried to get him to also buy an Insultex underquilt, but he decided against it.

Couscous dropped him off at Elk Garden/VA 600 about noonish to continue nobo.

Restless Legs reached the Thomas Knob shelter at 12:13pm today, not sure if he was stopping there. Had a very heavy pack and was anxious to consume some food weight. http://www.twchikers.com/mta/index.html

Thanks, like I said he pondered all the the options most of the waking time. I did like the proto type HH side entry. We worked out a few bugs he had but he was still very uncertain.
I enjoyed my time with him. Very inteligent and i.d most every plant and animal on the trail if you asked.
    Looking forward to him finishing.

Restless Legs is currently on a bus headed for home with a leg stress fracture.
Hopefully he will be able to resume his AT thru attempt after some healing time.

    From his website ... http://twchikers.com/mta/

"May 25 ... Test results revealed a stress fracture so "Restless Legs" is off the trail and heading home to heal up. Only time will tell when he has "Rested Legs" and can return to the trail..."

I'm sad to hear about his stress fracture. I was hoping he'd make it all the way. I started reading his trip journal a week or two ago and couldn't stop until the end. Hopefully he can heal and continue where he left off.
