yes, aside from the new zipper design, the new version is designed to fit perfectly with my traveler hammock, the rings are still there to tension the net if you happen to be using a shorter hammock, but are not needed when used on the traveler.

The WB bugnet for the traveler is designed for 100" ridge lines...there is a mod for longer ridge lines ...check the WB web site for details...
