    This fabric is calendered so there is low air permeability and does not breathe well. It is a great fabric for tarps and hammocks since it is light weight and strong--but definitely not breathable.

    At that rate you'd be better off to grab some Ion from Dutch. It's dirt cheap for being so soft and he has calendered.

    Just a side note, this original thread is from May of 2010, so I'm pretty sure that hammock fabrics have evolved a bit...
