Buy A Hammock, Plant A Tree

Just wanted to let you all know about an exciting announcement I made on our site today, Trek Light Gear's 'Buy A Hammock, Plant A Tree' program:

Starting today, for every hammock that you purchase from Trek Light Gear, a tree will be planted in an area that desperately needs reforestation. It's as simple as that.

I'd say more about how excited I am about this new initiative and what it means to me and our customers, but I just wrote it all up in a blog post so save me the trouble and check it out at the link below

Buy A Hammock, Plant A Tree - Trek Light Gear Gives Back

In case you're wondering, this doesn't have any impact on the 1% For The Hammock Forums program...I'll continue to donate 1% of all sales referred from HF.net back to the forums in addition to this exciting new program.

You all rock, thanks as always for being such an active part of the hammock community.

    That's a great idea Seth.

If you have a say in how and where the trees are planted, have them spaced apart about 15 - 18 feet for the obvious reason. ;-)

    Cheers
