not technically a fabric, per se

but where do folks get CCF? I could just go out and grab one of the cheapo blue pads from wally world, but curious as to where to get the stuff at an affordable price in user specified lengths. Can it be bought by the foot/yard at either local stores, or online (everything can be bought online, I know). I know Jacks R Better and Te-Wa offer small pieces for use as leg pads and the like, though Te-Wa only sells it as an add on for an UQ. Looking to get a little bit to use for a sit pad, etc.

I'm not to sure on where to find "user specified lengths" as you describe/ are asking!? But you can get a pad from Gossamer Gear, they have several different thicknesses of pad's available, along with this one http://www.gossamergear.com/cgi-bin/...thinlight.html if you look in the drop down menu on the right you will see 1/4in wide, this pad from what I understand was made wider for use in hammocks and those that want a wider ground pad! There was another post that talked about where to get CCF and what was available and it had a few different manufacture's/places to get wide or wider than normal pads! I will try and look for it here in a few minutes!

That'll teach me to rely solely on search I searched all sorts of terms, but didn't remember to actually look in the 'pads' forum. D'oh!

And as far as user specified length, that was just a confusing way of saying that I want to be able to get as much or as little as I want, as opposed to having to buy a pre-sized piece, which may be too big or too little for my intended use.

No biggie!!!! I've done the same thing once, twice, three, well you get the point!
I have the GG 1/4 wide pad and cut it up for two people to use (we both are skinny) but it was very easy to cut, so you could get the wide pad and cut to the size you need!?
