Hammocks and Kilts

I finally got my Mountain Hardwear Elkommando hiking kilt in and took it on a day hike over the weekend. To say I love it would be the understatement of the year. I'm planning on taking it with me on the Trail Days hike coming up in a couple weeks but need to pose a question to those of you who already wear kilts:

What's the most comfortable way to sleep in your hammock with the kilt? Do you remove it and sleep in a pair of boxers? Sleep "regimental" in the hammock? Other arrangements? Any ideas/comments are appreciated. Thankee in advance.
