I got actual pipe, not exhaust pipe. The pipe was $13 plus labor(@$60/hour) total for both pipe extensions were $43.35.

I am going to check at the welding shop to see if they can beat the price! I could use another set for my daughters hammock. Always good to have a little competition in town.

I'll take a photo of it up close. 2QZQ shipped my hammock so I should have photos soon!!!

Waiting on hammock in the mail but I have uploaded pics of the extensions I had made at the muffler shop. I will check after Christmas with the welding shop to see if they can bend the pipe cheaper. I'll upload photos once I have my hammock.

Got my hammock back from 2QZQ and it's great. Setup the hammock in the back yard where there are no trees. This would work but I still need to tweek my setup.

Looks like it came out good, the upright pipe looks to be a little taller than mine. I did not want to get to tall due to the extra stress it would put on the pipe. What are your plans for tweeking the system? Good luck and hang tight!

I have eye bolts to run rain fly leads thru to the ground. They shouldn't sag as much when you are in the hammock.

    Thanks firecaptain53 and Kodiak 62 !

Thank you for concept, fabricator+material info and specs to bring to the shop.
    Plus cost expectations.

We have a similar hammock stand, use it with an ENO in the backyard.
I have a tall husband, he would appreciate some extra height on the stand.
