    Inner shell fabric

I looked around the forum and havent really found an answer to this question.

What fabrics do you guys use besides Momentum for the inner lining of sleeping bags and quilts?

I have seen some people talk about taffeta and silk. Not sure which type of them i should use. I would really appreciate some help on this one.

I asked the same question when making my synthetic top quilt. Ended up using some very light ripstop. Works OK, but isn't as breathable as I'd like.

My next one I'm going to use some polyester liner material. I've found several different weights and "softnesses". Softness seems to vary even within the same product. I've found some I like and plan to use it instead of nylon on future quilts.

    Hope that helps.

Ripstop is nice and light, but I really like my lightweight fleece lined TQ.

Most fleece is too heavy IMHO, but I used a cheap ($10 on sale at big-5) "fleece sleeping bag". The material is fairly light and very comfortable.

I generally use 1.1 with dwr for both inner and outer shell.
