Superfly Rings

Hey guys,

I setup my Superfly tarp for the first time this afternoon. I noticed there is a welded ring for the ridgeline suspension, but there is also a split ring just inside the ridgeline attachment point. What are the split rings purpose?

No. Is that the top attachment point for the doors or for cordage used with the doors?

Yep. That's the top attachment for the doors.

door has a hook at top and bottom, there is another ring on the backside of the ground corner reinforcement, door hooks attach to these

Thanks for the explanation and video link. That makes perfect sense. Someone had mentioned snaps in an older message, and I was scratching my head, but this makes perfect sense, and it is a relief to know I can add the doors later.
