Sorry, I haven't been on the computer the last 3 days.
I just got a email from Duro with price quote.

$6 uncoated and $9 for coated.

Is Ben of Duro talking silnylon? If so, I would think it would be "impregnated", not "coated".
I too will something make and joy in it's making

    sorry

$9 a yard for 5k yards is unreasonable.

multicam is a novelty, not a commodity imho.

That translates to like $20/y retail, if not more, and that's insulting. Even if it's a commodity, it's still unreasonable.

I'd like to get some camo but this sounds expensive... I just made a post complaining about not having a dollar bin for fabric around here. Multicam sure is pretty though

Manufacturers and most suppliers just call it coated, or double coated. Impregnated is more of a catch phrase that helps us better understand how it's coated.

Is this opinion based on your own personal experience with Multicam? I can tell you from my personal experience that Multicam is anything but a novelty. It's being pirated all over the world because of one thing. It works.

As for the price, I've been shopping around the net and most of what I've seen is around $8-9/yd for standard fabric. So $6-9/yd for Multicam is a **** good price in my eyes.

I'm still in for 5yds of uncoated and 10yds of coated (Quantities subject to change)....

I was just kidding about a group buy. How would we buy 5000 yards anyway? My email to Duro was mainly to let them know that there would be a market if they looked at the camping, hiking, hunting market. With the success of Multicam I don't think it'll take long before they expand their product.
