I wanted to share this with you all when my family went to the National watch and clock museum in Columbia , PA. It was very interesting

Changing the clocks for Daylight Savings Time never bothered me much, but darn if I'm getting up at 2am to change them
I too will something make and joy in it's making
They say, changing clocks twice a year, can throw us off, for a while when change is first made.
There would be minimal or no effect, if the person did not look at any clocks, or have their personal changes. But most of us are not hermits. Most of us follow schedules for jobs, television programs, sporting events and more.
It’s hard enough for me to adjust to changing of seasons. Each day, hours of sunlight changes after summer and winter solstices. After Summer Solstice each day gets shorter. After Winter Solstice each day gets longer. It takes a while for temperatures to change along with increasing or decreasing amounts of daylight.
I say….

“Purdy Boil” contest 800am Saturday morning
And a very specific Tour of Hammocks, I want to see. Yall, please help me out here. I want to see a Majestic Hammock and
Three hammocks with attached under quilts
Snap on under quilt— Maybe Superior Gear
Sewn on under quilt—Maybe Superior Gear
And a zip on under quilt—Maybe Dutch’s
I have none of the four above hammocks.
Please, if you already have any of these mind bending items, would you show them in our Tour of Hammocks?
Knot Tie Demo
Learn to tie diamond knot
Learn to tie Surgeon’s Shoe Bow
Learn how to shorten shoe strings that are a bit long—without cutting off aglet or aiglet. Once aglet has been cut off, laces become difficult to re-lace!
Doesn’t always work, but can help until you can buy right length laces.
Edit: More than an appetizer, might be all you want for lunch!
Charcuterie Board 11am Saturday morning
I’ll have all ingredients, and will need help setting charcuterie board. This will be an appetizer just before whatever you decide to have for lunch.
I’ll try and have appetizers in Greater Quantity than last spring. You see, latest research has revealed a new list of basic food groups.
Coffee, wine, peanut butter&jalapeño, strawberry jam, cheese—both white and yeller cheeses, fully cooked&sliced beef brisket, grapes, nuts, beef jerky, wafers, crackers, chips&dip, and chocolate.
Boonie Hat contest, in case of a tie, winner will be decided by quality of your Knock Knock jokes.
Hike to relatively new trail shelter. I lied last year. Thought it was 1 mile out and 1 mile back. Turns out, it’s 2 miles out and 2 miles back.
You are invited to participate in any or all of our events. No one is required to be in any event.
You can skip any or all events. Chilling in your hammock works too!
I’m open to your suggestions, but if you suggest something, you might be drafted to provide your project.
I hope to visit Yates this week during a weekday to survey camp and see if there are any changes.
Edit, if there is no interest in certain activities, they can be amended or eliminated depending on your interests. On account of….Phanton Grappler is not Yates…..But We all are Yates. Your suggestions are welcome. And or you can collaborate with others with your ideas.

During next few hangs, I will talk with our Old Pros.
I should have consulted them EARLIER.
We will have a group meal or meals. I will follow lead of at least two head chefs.
After that, I might modify my plans of Charcuterie Board. Some people want a hot meal, along with Charcuterie Board.
We will work together collaborating some vittles.
If you have any preferences or want to join in cooking, please let us know. Not for permission, but so we can all plan ahead and adjust as needed.
I went to Yates Wednesday. There were five or six camps.
Some have been there longer than others. But Forest Rangers are good about enforcing the two week rule.
There are newly posted rules on our readerboard.
Fines can be levied up to $10,000 for leaving food out anywhere that animals can reach.
Always when finished eating a meal, put up all food in a secure location, such as inside your car or truck.
It's amazing that we haven't had critter issues with all the food left out.
