I'm wanting to be able to hammock where ever I go!
Some requirements I have are:
- portable
- free standing, doesn't need an anchor point that is not already part of the stand
- able to hold 300lbs
What are your recommendations?

Thanks Shug!
I started out trying to message you directly via youTube but you must've felt that there was a hammocker out there in need!
I don't have a YOBO stand but have Tensa 4 stand but they do require a staking point.

I went on to your channel looking for the review.... seems like you still have some videos to make
I guess I was a bit confusing when I said free standing, because I am considering the Tensa4 from your video. But the fact that the hive sleeps 2 kind of solves another problem for me.
There are many stands with a similar upsidedown arch design. The challenge is to find one that is long enough for your hammock. Many would work fine for a 9 ft hammock but are not long/high enough to keep an 11 ft hammock at the desired angle and off the ground - but they are out there.
If weight/bulk isn't a priority - like if you were going to use it at home or car camping - then you don't need to spend money on exotic materials (like carbon fiber construction).
I'm pretty sure your, "... wherever I go ..." doesn't mean you'd take the same stand you'd use at home on a hike with you. Perhaps you could elaborate on the "...wherever I go ... " part a little more. Are you walking, driving, paddling, etc. ?
In order to see what few have seen, you must go where few have gone. And DO what few have done.
You're right! I would not be hiking with this stand. I would expect to be able to drive up to a spot and set it up.
