    Beetle buckle question

Quick question- how do beetle buckles work with a bridge hammock such as a ridgerunner or banyon? Also, since I weigh around 260 lbs, what straps would you recommend? Pros and cons of this suspension?

FYI: If you want to know what type a certain bear is, sneak up behind it and kick it. Then,
run like crazy and climb up a tree. If the bear climbs the tree and eats you, it's a black
bear. If the bear just pushes the tree over and eats you, it's a grizzly bear : )

Do not walk behind me, for I may not lead. Do not walk ahead of me, for I may not follow. Do not walk beside me, either, just leave me alone.

I use the Dutch spider/polys. I'm 270...works fine on with the CLs on a gathered end. They should work as long as you can loop on the hammock suspension over the wings.

I have continuous loops on my dog bones, so my Beetle Buckles hook on just like they do on my gathered-end hammocks. I haven’t tried putting the dog bones directly on the two hooks, but wouldn’t expect any problems.

That would be the Superior Buckle, but it pretty much works just like a Beetle Buckle.

Well for me beetle buckles and spiderpoly straps @ 290 were a no go. This system would slip to the point it damaged the strap. Ordered new staps did the same thing, then catastrophic failure on the tree side. The horn of the adutchable clip snaped off and I hit the ground hard needless to say I lost faith in that system. I ordered spider daisy and two Dutch carabiners and hung with that system dozens of times and have completed faith in it.
