I am thinking about making a double layer hammock using dutches hexon fabric and am having trouble deciding what color combinations to use. Any suggestions or personal favorites? Examples? Thx for the help!

FYI: If you want to know what type a certain bear is, sneak up behind it and kick it. Then,
run like crazy and climb up a tree. If the bear climbs the tree and eats you, it's a black
bear. If the bear just pushes the tree over and eats you, it's a grizzly bear : )
Do not walk behind me, for I may not lead. Do not walk ahead of me, for I may not follow. Do not walk beside me, either, just leave me alone.

I used blue on the inside with brown on the outside. My reasoning was:
Blue: I like blue. It is restful. It would be easier to find things in the hammock.
Brown: it worked with the blue. It was more camouflaged in the woods.
I also went with different fabric weights. I liked the softness of the lighter fabric but not its stretchiness. So I used the softer fabric inside and the less stretchy fabric on the outside.
Great idea! Which blue did you use?

I made a top quilt using Woodland Camo on the outside and and Dark Olive on the inside. Not very creative, I'll admit, but I have photos so I figured I would attach one so that you can judge for yourself how well the colors go together. I think it would look great on a DL hammock. (you can click on the image and zoom in to get a better view.)
~ All I want is affordable, simple, ultralight luxury. That’s not asking too much is it?

I happen to like a dark color on the inside of the hammock body. It looks cleaner longer. But that might be a disincentive with respect to laundering when it might be actually called for!
I save the cheerier colors for the rainfly, cuz that's what I look at more.
