Shug - I have to say, you make winter camping look so enjoyable. One of these years Im going to work up the courage to spend a snow covered night in the woods, but Ive always been so intimated by the mere thought of sub-freezing temps. Glad you were able to get out and thanks for taking us along for the adventure!

It is always a joy once I get out of the Jeep and get ready to go. This trip was fairly mild by our usual Winter standards. You should try it sometime if your gear is up to it. Thankee.

This winter has sucked so bad for snow up here. I ended up buying some snow stakes like these - https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B0BL155SQW with a hex head and using my drill! It was the best I could do to dig into the frozen ground.

I really enjoyed your video, as always! Were Y'all using 0F SG insulated hammocks, or some combination of less warm hammocks with snap on SG comforters? Whatever, great to see you wake up so toasty warm every morning and start brewing that fancy coffee! Looks so good, as do all of your big luxury meals. Luxury winter pulk camping, YAY!

We have a 1 night freeze coming thru tonight way down here in MS! I may have to take advantage of it!

Various degrees of SG hammocks. I was using 30º hammock and 30º Comforter. Jonah had 0º hammock 30º Comforter...all new buy for him so he was excited to try it all.
I loaned Alex 15º hammock and 40º Comforter. We all slept so good and warm. A wonderful thing for sure.
Fun to share the meals and hang out in the cold glory. Thankee.
