The Tato is a beast. I have both the Tato and Tensa stands. For car camping, I usually take the Tato stand. It is sturdy and there is less fiddle factor than the Tensa.

If I need to carry one any distance, the Tensa wins out at half the weight.

The pictures show the Tato stand. That is a 12' tarp and an 11' hammock on it.

I've used the Tato Stand a few times while car camping and visiting relatives. It's heavier than you'd think, and the bag it comes in seems a little flimsy for the weight. So I carry the bag in my arms instead of by the strap/handle. Anchoring the tripod is handy. The tripod itself is stable but as you are setting it up, it's easy to pull one end over while fiddling with the other end. Accept that it will be scratched up after a while. You can't have that many large-diameter pieces rubbing against each other in the bag without leaving marks. Just consider each scratch a badge for a good time.
In order to see what few have seen, you must go where few have gone. And DO what few have done.
