    Looking for a tarp ridgeline

I don't have the patience to splice one myself, and I can never remember the "over under" in knots. I'm looking at getting a new tarp and would like a ridgeline like the one I have on my tadpole. It's a continuous ridgeline with a little hook on one end, and a nite ize figure nine on a prussic (i think?) on the other end, so that you can adjust the placement. You can tell I'm really good with technical terms

Dutch sells lines with his wasps. I have one of those and it's not my favorite. Does anyone have a favorite continuous ridgeline/maker that I can check out? Autumn Outdoors used to have stuff, but her site says she's out for a few months.

Thanks for any help and guidance!

I switched over to tactical toggles on my split ridgeline. I bet you can use one in place of the Dutch wasp. It slides easily up and down the line, and it holds quite well. The wasp is a PITA to move along the line, and it tends to chew up cordage when you lock it in.

Jeff Meyers has a good video on the usage: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=PO3TURgNjs0. I use the implementation he talks about starting at 4:12.

Arrowhead Equipment has one. I have made one similar to this and it works well. https://www.arrowhead-equipment.com/...RidgeLine.html

1.75mm Zing-It continuous ridgeline with my Exped Slit Line prusiks and integrated soft shackles.

Put your choice of soft shackle or hardware on the other end to tension the ridgeline.

Whilst browsing the interweb, specifically that YouTube thingy, I came across David Canterbury who has a "no knot" ridgeline. I think he refers to it as "the ultimate ridgeline" or some such hyperbole. Here's the link https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=m11UB2z6UL4.

It's not technically accurate as a name as you do need to tie some knots beforehand* but you don't need to tie any knots whilst setting it up, everything is done by pushing one bight (loop) through another which includes the tensioning.

*specifically either a spliced eye or a knot with a large eye on one end of the ridgeline and three prusik loops.

Another fan of the tactical toggles and Jeff's stuff here. He has several ready-made tarp kits, such as this one with the toggles and Nama claws:

Or this one with soft shackles and toggles:

I bought this awhile back, and it is truly a no knot continuous ridgeline. There are two toggles at each end, and there was also two prusik's with integrated soft shackles.

Take one end and wrap around tree, and deploy to opposite tree. Wrap the line around the 2nd tree and push the toggle thru a 'Slit in the Line" and pull back like a trucker's hitch and walk back to the 2nd tree keeping tension.

Wrap the excess line around the tree once or twice, and then gather the leftover line in a figure eight wrap to keep excess line from tangling, and by excess, note that the Slit Line was 15-meters long.

Autumn Ultralight makes a good one that uses that toggle and some nama claws.

I was looking for Autumn's stuff because I had seen it in the past, but her website says she's out for a few months. I went with Jeff Myers (myerstech on etsy). The toggles look easy and versatile.
Thanks so much for all the responses! I'm hoping to get a new Walhalla Winter tarp to put it on. I'm upgrading from my little Tadpole (OWL) that I've been using for years.
