This discussion has made me decide to change out the amsteel to mimic the ridgerunner so that I can use the tarp protectors in a more permanent fashion. I will also be adding the bridge bones to both sides of the ridgeline to reflect the gen1 banyan which will make changing out the top almost effortless. I truly believe this will go a long way towards increasing the utility of the banyan for my personal needs and belief on how it should be. I'll try to do a write up afterwards.
