Hoping to schedule a southbound trip from Table Rock to Oconee in April. Haven’t picked a launch date yet but would like to shoot for starting April 12th or April 19th. Would enjoy some hammock company for all or just a section. Post/PM if interested.

Hey Gordo - I was originally planning on 12-15 mpd or 5-6 days. I may have some work conflicts so we could look at dropping cars and doing a shorter section at a milder pace.
Update trip details.
I’m doing this trip the weekend of April 19th. I’ve decided to shorten it to 3 days due to work constraints (4/19-4/21). El Gordo plans to join me early Friday morning 4/19 at Laurel Valley Access (mile 61.8) and we intend to hike west to Whitewater Falls Access (mile 28.6) for a ~33 mile hike. Roughly 10-12 mile/day pace depending on how we’re feeling and where we find good hanging spots. I may camp Thursday night at the trailhead due to travel distance. Feel free to respond to thread or PM for more details if you would like to join us.
