Hello all in the Southwest, I'm coming to Vegas around the 20th of February and would like to know if there is a good place to get away to for a few days outside of town? I'm hoping for some light hiking / backpacking and fairly warm temperatures (not crazy mountain weather if possible).

There is nice hiking at Valley of Fire State Park, but it’s the desert and trees are hard to find. If you have a stand, you might find something.
