    I had forgot that Don Baker had taken a picture of me and camp dog this past Fall at Yates.
    Monday morning when there were just a few of us still in camp he came closer.

    I felt privileged that he trusted me enough to let me pet him. He has let a few others pet him too I believe.
    I have a soft spot for him. I think he has been abused by some campers.

    Early weather forecasts for Stanly and Montgomery counties indicate potential winds of 87 mph and snow drifts of 70 to 80 feet! Get those stoves souped up!

    While all the diehards were at Grayson We were at Uwharrie not at Yates but Sunday morning it was a balmy 14 degrees (still cold AF). See what we get in March!
