    Hey Hanging Fish,

Everyone's welcome, regardless of where you're coming from.

Valens is a drive-to camp site with heated washrooms on hand.

I expect that we'll have a more hardcore, backcountry winter hang coming up, but for now, this is a perfect way for folks to get their kit dialed in while at the same time enjoying good company, food and times.

Hope you can make it out, but if you're willing to do the drive up from Kentucky, I can assure you that you'll be welcome

    Cheers

Well now the big question is, do you know if I can bring my hatchet, knife, and hand saw across the border?

Also, is anyone showing up on Thursday?

As long as the knife isn't a switchblade or other illegal knife in Canada, you'll be fine I'm sure. The border guards will be more concerned with alcohol products and food, most likely!

They haven't turned us away yet.

We'll be there on Friday, incidentally.

Well, the Fish is swimming south to Hangcon in Florida. I do want to get up to Canada and go camping. Ever since I started watching Joe Robinet on YouTube I have wanted to get back up there. Stay warm and dry, I saw a possibility of some snow and rain this weekend.
