^^nice outcome iceman. Testament to Helinox brand that they would send replacement parts on a well-used (loved) piece of gear. Did it break while you were twisting in it? My brother’s Flexlite Air broke at one of the plastic hubs when he tried pulling on socks seated in the chair.

I'm not entirely certain, TBH. I think it happened right after I had realized one of the feet had sunk into the mud and I was getting up to reposition it. It could definitely be because of twist, although it's hard to say that would be the cause, given where it broke.

I have 4 CPVC 1/2” tee I use on the bottom of my chair feet. This helps to stop them from sinking in. Took the tee, drilled a hole in them. Then attached shock cord to them and attach that to the crossbar. They just pop on and off and hang from the bar. Can be rolled up with frame and stored in the bag. So far has worked well

I think that's the same setup that TomTom uses. I've been looking at different DIY solutions folks have used and am leaning toward a Tyvek solution. Funny thing is, my wife had bought me the Helinox ground sheet for it, and I've evidently lost it in my last move.

One other fun learning for me personally is that I had the mindset of "I don't need anything like this" when I was living and hiking in Colorado in the rockies. Out East, the ground is definitely less rocky yet I haven't really changed my mindset. This old dog is slow at learning new tricks.

If you would like to see my ultralight solution for sinking chair feet, check this link.
I started out by showing my original version, which was difficult to sew and recently added a new version that is easier to sew, with photos of each steep.

My Nemo Moonlight reclining chair failed me on a backpacking trip last year.
Fortunately, it was the last morning.
I don't have any kind word for Nemo's customer service.
It took way too long to get it back to me and would have been even longer had I not had the manager of The Great Outdoor Provision, where I purchased it, call someone he knew.
But at least they did send a completely new chair.
