It was just perfect. Wasn't too deep, and I could get in and out like a breeze. The only fault is the mosquito netting was always bothering me.

Is there any other brand, as there are so many, that fits my criteria here?

I use this hammock in my room. The stand I use is 9" long. And my bedroom is 10"x10". so I don't have a lot of room to move here.

    Help? (Any question, ask)
if the HH was a God send, then why do you want something else? (not that you need a reason for another hammock or hammock related items like quilts. I sound like my wife talking to me LOL!)

BTW, I am still a big fan of my original HH Explorer UL + HH Super Shelter, and I have had many of the best rated brands.

Is the net your problem? I have cut a net off of my 1st HH from 2006, a bottom entry model. ( I have many other netted hammocks plus separate nets, so will never need it). If the net is the only issue, consider attaching a thin piece of shock cord to the net near your face and attach it somewhere outside the hammock to pull the net away from you. Or, I have also used pillows to push the net away.

Then again, it is always great to get a new hammock just for fun. Sounds like you need a short one due to your rooms dimensions and the size of your stand.. Superior Gear sells a 10 ft one called the StarLite or something like that, or an even less expensive 10 footer called DayLite I think. I can't speak to the comfort of either, but their Superior Gear insulated hammock is about the most consistently comfortable gathered end hammock I have used. By that I mean, the most consistently without calf ridge, which has always been my main problem with gathered end hammocks(not a problem with bridge or 90º hammocks).

Right now I have my stand set up in the bedroom. I've tried the 10.5' Warbonnet Traveler but couldn't get comfortable. Now I'm using my 11' Dutchware Netless and with a lot of fiddling I've found the perfect sag and sleep like a baby. To get that sag on the stand it hangs low and is a PITA to get out of, but it's worth it for a good night's sleep.

Unrelated, one of our cats thinks the hammock is the best thing ever and sleeps on my chest every night. Sometimes she comes to tell me it's time for bed if I stay up too late.
A little song, a little dance, a little seltzer down your pants.
