Hi all, I ordered some end caps for my spreader bars from this mob, but cannot get a response. Have tried messenger emails and even on here. Does anyone know if they’ve gone out of business?

Take a look at the last several posts in the thread "Turtle Ties, a new hammock suspension option" in the Suspension subforum. Website seems to be gone. Makes one wonder what happened.
I liked his products and those end caps seemed to be a great idea and seemed to be selling well.
I'm guessing you're out some money. And it looks like you're not alone. That really is a shame. I hope there is a reasonable explanation at some point.
As an alternative, take a look at a similar product from NAMA Gear.
Luckily I bought through Amazon so should get a refund. Shame when a business goes under, but I really wish they would not take your money when in unsure times.
Maybe they will sell rights to another business to make a copy of their products.
Or maybe someone will make a knockoff or similar product.
Those turtle ties (not sure of name) are an interesting innovation.
This can happen to any cottage vendor. Sales are probably in the hobby range, for smaller vendors, as far as profits go.
If the owner gets sick or dies or has a bad auto accident—their business might close with no warning.
Maybe you can find items you want, offered for sale by a Hammock Forums member.
I wonder if 3D printing can be done to duplicate end caps for spreader bars.
The world is full of wonder, and I’m bout out of guesses. Good luck
I found this awhile ago and bookmarked it. Going to try to and get my co-worker to make them for me this week. They look similar to the fugal ones. I think I may have even got that on here. Hope it helps, Ill keep you posted when I get them.

There are numerous connection options for the apex of the bridge dogbones. I'd have to take my Turtles off to see if the end loops are large enough to attach to the Super-Mini rings I mention in the DIY forum. If not, a lightweight carabiner like WarBonnet sells gives you lots of easy suspension options.
Fugals spreader bar pin "buttons" were an innovation. But if they are no longer available, NAMAGear has a good replacement.
Unlike the (3D printed) plastic Fugal buttons, Namagear's use some metal in the construction:

Be a little aware of pin diameter. The old RR pins were about 5mm and the new ones (or Ruta Locura CF replacements) are about 4mm. But the pins on the poles used in RSBTR's DIY bridge Kit are about 7mm and are too large for hardware/buttons used with those other sizes.
In order to see what few have seen, you must go where few have gone. And DO what few have done.
I wanted to give an update as the Fugal parts turned up today. I hope they have not gone out of business though.
Out of curiosity, when did you put the order in?
FWIW my Fugal order from June 23 took a little while but did show up eventually. End of July I believe.
I had one of my end caps from Fugal break on me and emailed them to get a replacement. I actually sent multiple emails and never got a response. So I ordered a couple of them from Namagear. Received them in less than a week and they are virtually the same except much, much easier to install.
